I spent all Friday making, baking, throwing away, baking again and icing amazing technicolored cupcakes. Aveline asked me to bake them about 2 months ago already but I wanted them to be absolutely fresh so I waited until the last minute to bake them - all 72 of them :)
She dropped off the 3 primary colours food coloring and I had such fun mixing colors! Blue, Purple, Yellow, Orange, Green and Red.
As you can see, I had lots of fun with my piping bag, I spelt out FELIX 1 a letter on each cupcake in every color group, trying to group them in groups of six.
I guess they're not the most professional looking avant garde cupcakes, but for a 1 year old's Birthday party I think they were perrrrrrfect :)
So this afternoon Salomè and I went to his b-day party in Warrington Arcade. Oh such fun! and if I must say so myself - those cupcakes were scrumptious!
